Does Apple Pharmacy provide a free prescription delivery service?

Yes we can arrange to order your medication and then for your prescriptions to be picked up from your surgery. The finished prescription can then be either picked up from your local Apple Pharmacy or we can organise a delivery to your home if you are house bound or ill.

Is there Care Home servicing available?

Yes we provide full servicing for Care Homes, this includes: Training for staff, a full pharmaceutical dispensing service, medication reviews for patients and doctors, collection and delivery of prescriptions, same day delivery of acute medication e.g. antibiotics, collection and disposal of unused and unwanted medication.

What happens if I run out of my medication before I can hand in my prescription?

Don't worry Apple Pharmacy are at hand. We will not let you go without your medication especially if it is for a chronic illness e.g. diabetes, hypertension, heart failure. We can either give you an emergency supply of up to five days of your medication or for longer periods i.e. if you are going on holiday the pharmacist under the 'Urgent Provision of Repeat Medicine Or Appliances Scheme' can write out a prescription for up to a months supply of repeat medication.
